The opera gala programme was built from the best-known Italian opera arias (Tosca, Turandot, Rigoletto…) and songs (O sole mio, Granada, Funiculì funiculà…), performed by three world tenors with a large symphony orchestra.
Alberto Profeta – one of the finest spinto tenors, among the last students of Luciano Pavarotti and a regular at Italy’s greatest opera houses. Anle Gou – a young Chinese tenor with a crystal-clear voice and refined technique who has also debuted at the Vienna State Opera. And the Slovak tenor Jozef Gráf, with numerous stage and concert premieres in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Spain and Sweden.
Following the sold-out concerts of 2022 and 2023, the closing Film Music Concert again brought melodies by the world’s great film composers – Gladiator, Game of Thrones, James Bond, The Last of the Mohicans, Superman, as well as classics such as Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.
