Georges Bizet's Carmen is a popular musical drama of passion, desire, love, revenge and death. The audience heard world-famous melodies such as the Habanera and the Toreador Song, the latter sung by Filip Tůma. The title role was sung by the charming Czech mezzo-soprano Karla Bytnarová, based in Germany.
Dvořák's Rusalka is full of dazzling musical beauty, and this lavish production spoke to audiences of all ages. The charismatic Daniel Hůlka sang the Water Goblin, the graceful diva Tereza Mátlová the title role and the thrilling tenor Jakub Pustina the Prince.
